Hello

I am the founder of the law firm - Kristen B. Pleasant & Associates, PLLC. My areas of practice are: Personal Injury - Accidents, Family Law, Civil Rights Violations, Successions/Estate Law, and Business Law. I am a Cum Laude graduate of Southern University Law Center and an Honorable Mention graduate of Southern University A&M College. My membership affiliations include the following: the Louisiana State Bar Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the Young Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. 

         I am also an Assistant Professor in the College of Business at Grambling State University, wherein I teach Business Law. I am currently married to Rico Pleasant, founder of Rico Images, LLC - A Professional Photography Company. My husband and I founded a non-profit organization, Families Matter Too, Inc., to provide funding for couples facing the challenges of infertility. I am also a faithful member and ordained minister at Prevailing Faith Bible Church, which is pastored by my parents, Drs. Charles and Patsy Brown. In my spare time, I participate in various outreach ministries involving mentoring women and troubled youth.
